Die Greifarme von Flexigrip sind an Schwerlastscharnieren mit austauschbaren Lagerbuchsen montiert. Rechter bzw. linker Arm können verriegelt werden, wobei es eine kleine Restbewegung möglich macht, die Ballen dicht zu stapeln, ohne die Ballenfolie zu beschädigen. Die Arme von Flexigrip sind so konstruiert, dass sie leicht wieder zurückgezogen werden können, was beim dichten Stapeln von Ballen von Vorteil ist. Die einzigartig gekrümmte, runde Form und die 90 mm starken Rohre sorgen entscheidend dafür, dass sowohl liegende als auch stehende Ballen sehr vorsichtig gehandhabt werden können. Eine besondere Rolle spielen die langen, gekrümmten Rohre, die aus einem Stück bestehen und ohne scharfe Kanten bzw. Schweißnähte gebogen sind. Die Verlängerung des oberen Rohres ist eine Besonderheit, die beim Handling liegender Ballen wesentlich besseren Halt gibt. Das senkrechte Lagern von Ballen übereinander reduziert das Risiko, das Luft und Feuchtigkeit in die Ballen eindringen. Somit ist Flexigrip für das Stapeln senkrechter Ballen optimal.
